Prospector Apartments is an affordable housing development project situated in the heart of Estes Park, Colorado. Developed as a HUD project, Prospector spans approximately 5.8 acres of picturesque land and comprises four buildings, totaling 94 units. Prospector will feature the installation of 781 trees, shrubs, and plantings, enhancing the scenic landscape of the development. The project will also incorporate modern amenities, including a VTAC (Vertical Terminal Air Conditioning) system, ensuring optimal comfort for residents throughout the year. One of the unique aspects of Prospector is the preservation of an existing log cabin on-site, adding to the charm and character of the development. Additionally, carports will be provided to accommodate residents’ vehicles, enhancing convenience and accessibility. This project utilizes Low Income Housing Tax Credits included Section 3 Reporting and paid Davis-Bacon Wages.
