Dohn Construction Breaks Ground on First National Bank - Erie Branch

Local construction firm begins on work on bank building in ErieFort Collins, CO: Dohn Construction, Inc. has begun construction of the First Nation Bank – Erie Branch in Erie, CO.  The bank building project includes 4 drive through lanes, drive-up ATM, walk-up tellers, on-duty bankers, and safety deposit boxes.  This branch is utilizing a Variable Air Volume heating and cooling system to maximize occupant comfort and minimize energy consumption.  Large windows around the perimeter of the building along with glass partitions within the building will allow natural light to enter the space and use of LED lighting will require 10% less energy for lighting compared to bank branched built three years ago.  The building will also have an electrical car charging station along with three flag poles on site.Dohn Construction President Doug Dohn explains, “We are very excited to continue the relationship we have built with First National Bank and are thrilled to see the Erie community so enthusiastic about the project as well.”  Having also served as Project Manager for the First National Bank Longmont branch, Dohn Construction Senior Project Manager John Rehmer says, “I am happy to be involved with another First National Bank project and continue this great business relationship.”  Dohn Construction Superintendent Michael Woods also explains, “It is very exciting to be part of a project that will add value and architectural excellence to a growing city on the front range.”This will be the fifth First National Bank branch that Dohn Construction has worked on with others including the Greeley, Timberline, Centerra, and Longmont branches.  Dohn will partner with Fort Collins architecture firm, VFLA Architects for this project.About Dohn Construction: Dohn Construction, Inc. is a commercial construction management firm based in Fort Collins, CO.   Founded in 1992, Dohn Construction has built over 245 buildings across Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming by serving as a valuable resource to its clients and partners.  For more information please visit www.dohnconstruction.com or call 970-490-1855.
