Jeff’s first love in life is bicycling. It’s earned him the title of Race Director for the Rocky Mountain Road Club – the oldest consecutive running cycling team in Denver (not to mention a stack of medals). However, with almost two decades of experience in his proverbial tool belt, Jeff is a respected authority in contracting as well. His work is inspired by the knowledge that is tangible. It will be seen, touched and interpreted by future generations. Beyond this, Jeff aspires to make his mark by pushing the progressive boundaries of the industry. He is also one of the first to host a design-build exclusive podcast.
An artistic mind and entrepreneurial spirit, Jeff Gates started his first business in high school – scratching records as a DJ. The music was iffy at best, but this venture laid the groundwork for infusing creativity in his craft. Inventing visually pleasing, functional design is what excites him most about sitting down to a project meeting. With over a decade in the design build sector, he remains an influential leader in the industry. During the workweek, you can find Jeff anywhere from a 60 ft. boom lift, to a conference room table. If you want to catch up with him off-site you might have to buy some concert tickets. Music remains one of Jeff’s greatest passions as he frequents over 4 festivals and 50 live shows every year.

We are proud to promote a culture of safety in our office and on our job sites, every project, every day.
Quality assurance begins with a thorough review of all construction documents at the onset of a project. This gives the team a chance to ask questions and obtain clarifications from the design team. Our project manager will coordinate preconstruction and will make inquiries from major subcontractors to ensure constructability. Throughout the construction process, the field superintendent continuously monitors quality control.
