Falcon Ridge Apartments and Townhomes – Estes Park, CO
As the first flood recovery development awarded Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Falcon Ridge offers 48 stacked flat apartments and town home style units that sit on a five and a half acre sloping site. The site design is based on a combination of six-plexes with one and two-story apartment buildings, with one and two bedroom units, and two-story townhomes of two and three bedroom units. A 2,000 square foot community building includes staff offices and a large neighborhood meeting room, with a partially covered, elevated veranda that overlooks a playground and large community green. The buildings are designed along a curvilinear private road that encircles the centrally located community building and community green, and are intended to complement the adjacent Talons Pointe development but provide a unique neighborhood character. The project is a certified Enterprise Green Community.
