Project Description: Crossroads Safehouse was a renovation of a 33,000 square foot, unused nursing home into a domestic violence safehouse. The facility has the dormitory style rooms for over 100 residents and their children. The building features a state-of-the-art security system, secure outdoor gathering spaces, and four kitchens for residents to use. The safehouse also has a children’s playroom, a boutique, a supply kitchen, a contemplation room, administrative offices, and a large conference room.
